Ottawa January 28 2015. With an integrated vision of foreign policy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and recalling the principles of self-determination, freedom, justice and international peace proclaiming the homeland of Bolívar, Ambassador Wilmer Barrientos presented his plan to the General Consul of Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal.
Defend the interests of the Venezuelan people framed in laws and principles international, defense of the human rights, defense of freedom and democracy, enhance the values of independence that are based on the ideals of Simon Bolivar and were embodied in this century by Hugo Chavez, as well as respect and equality among States, were the cornerstones of the institutional plan put in march with Ambassador Barrientos.
Consulates General in Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal, are responsible for the care of at least eleven thousand Venezuelans living in Canada.
