Diplomatic Cooperation between Venezuela and Mexico are Promoted in Canada


The Embassy of Venezuela and the Embassy of Mexico in Canada, held the first bilateral meeting to heighten the relationship of brotherhood that both

countries live. Ambassador Wilmer Barrientos by Venezuela and Francisco Suárez by Mexico, recognized the strategic importance of coordinated work and promoting Latin America as a united people.

The President of Mexico, Peña Nieto in March 2013 attended the funeral of former Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez and recognized Nicolas Maduro as the country's legitimate leader after the April elections.
