Toronto 27 February 2015. Through a meeting with Ambassador Wilmer Barrientos, at the headquarters of the Consulate General of Venezuela in Toronto, representatives from the various groups of solidarity with Venezuela expressed their rejection of interference from imperial powers. The representatives stated that Venezuela faces not only an economic, ideological and media war; it also wages a constant struggle for peace that defends the majority of the people against terrorist crimes.
Venezuela battles to continue building a national project for the welfare of its people against the interests of transnational parasitic bourgeoisie that tries, in compromise with the interests of the American empire and other allies, to take control of the resources, of the benefits that in the past they would obtained from the sweat of the working and exploited masses, whom are today the base of the social programs and missions of the Revolution.
