Toronto 27 February 2015. Through a meeting with Ambassador Wilmer Barrientos, the Consulate General of Venezuela in Toronto received institutional guidelines for the fight against Continued Coup attempts that has been developing in Venezuela with the notable interference by imperial powers.
Ambassador Barrientos focuses on the defense of the Bolivarian homeland in educational, political and cultural spheres. In this regard he remarked that "we must inform those who have been misinformed by the media campaign against Venezuela, but especially we must emphasize the sectors that do not know what is happening in our country and how democracy is being hijacked ".
The meeting is part of a set of defined strategies for the defense of the homeland against the Continued Coup attempts of February 12 and 13, 2015, and a working agenda at the consulate.
