Ottawa, March 9, 2015. Mohawk ancestral indigenous communities permanently established in the provinces of Ontario and Quebec since the1600s, were present at the Embassy of Venezuela in Canada to celebrated the second anniversary of the passing of the Eternal Commander Hugo Chٕávez and his legacy to the world, and also to offer their support to the Bolivarian Government of President Nicolás Maduro.

Ottawa, March 5, 2015. In Ottawa, 20 organizations gathered in defense of the Bolivarian Revolution, in order to honor the legacy of Commander Hugo Chávez and declared their profound solidarity with the Venezuelan people and its President Nicolás Maduro.

The Embassy of Venezuela in Canada, with its General Consulate in Montreal, celebrated the second anniversary of the passing of the Eternal Commander Hugo Chٕávez, and expressed it through a day of discussion with groups of solidarity with the Bolivarian Revolution, as well with an emotional ecumenical mass, which grouped the main religious manifestation in the world, as a reminder that there is no cultural and linguistic barriers to honor the largest South American leader of this century. The message was clear on this day, "There is no death or final farewell for the leader that marked the hearts and souls of Venezuela, Latin America and the World".

Ottawa, 05 de Marzo de 2015.   La Embajada de Venezuela en Canadá, junto al Consulado General en Montreal, celebro el segundo Aniversario de la siembra del Comandante Eterno  Hugo Chávez, y lo manifestó mediante una jornada de discusión con los grupos de solidaridad con la Revolución Bolivariana, así como una emotiva misa ecuménica, que agrupo a las principales manifestaciones religiosas del mundo, para recordar que no existe barrera cultural y lingüística para honrar al más grande líder suramericano de este siglo. El mensaje fue contundente  en esta jornada,  “No existe muerte o adiós definitivo para el  líder que marco los corazones y almas de Venezuela, Latinoamérica y el Mundo”.

During the celebration of the 26th anniversary of the social unravelling that unleashed the famous "Caracazo", the Embassy of Venezuela in Canada and its Consulates General promoted the conference that claimed the struggle of the heroic Venezuelan people of that February 27, 1989, and explained how its old ghosts of capitalism and the North American empire, morally defeated that year, today 26 years after, hovers over Venezuela again, with Continued Coup attempts.

The representatives stated that Venezuela faces not only an economic, ideological and media war; it also wages a constant struggle for peace that defends the majority of the people against terrorist crimes.
