Issued to persons with the status of Resident who have not been abroad for more than two (2) consecutive years or who have not acquired residency in another country in cases in which no more than thirty (30) consecutive days have elapsed since the expiry date of resident status.
It may also be issued to any person whose status as visitor issued by the Ministry of the Interior and Justice has expired while they were abroad, and who has not been abroad for more than thirty (30) consecutive days.
If the periods indicated above have not been met or if other circumstances not mentioned herein arise, the applicant must apply directly to the Ministry of the Interior and Justice for re-entry.
The returning resident visa is granted for six (6) months, with a single entry, and it will be stamped with the number of the applicant's Venezuelan identity card. Minors without a Venezuelan identity card are exempt.
