Authorized by the Ministry of the Interior and Justice, with the prior consent of the Ministry of Labour of Venezuela. The contracting party in Venezuela must meet the requirements established by the above-mentioned ministries.
This type of visa has exceptions for the following professions: artists, foreign correspondents and athletes involved in lucrative activities. Their representatives are only required to obtain authorization from the Ministry of the Interior and Justice which will establish the conditions of the visa and the length of stay in the country.
Requirements:
- Passport valid for a minimum of six (6) months.
- Authorization from ONIDEX [National Office of Identification and Migration] to issue the above-mentioned visa. This authorization will be valid for six (6) months as of the date of receipt.
- Certification of work experience or other related document.
- Certified copy of work permit issued by the Ministry of Labour.
- Two (2) recent colour photographs (3.5 x 4.5 cm).
- Bank draft in the amount of US$ 60.00, payable to: Embassy of Venezuela.
- Completed visa application form.
The Work Permit Visa is granted for a period of one (1) year, multiple entries. The visa holder may stay in the country for the same period of time. The Ministry of the Interior and Justice may extend period for the same term, if the Ministry of Labour approves the work authorization beforehand.
