Authentication of Documents to be valid in Venezuela ...

(Companies Statutes, Invoices, Representation Letters, Authorizations, Guarantees, Powers of Attorney, Sworn Declarations (Affidavits), Registration of Trade Mark, other certifications.)
In order to legalize different documents issued by the correspondent Canadian authorities, and that should have a legal effect in Venezuela, the following steps are required:
- Depending of the kind of document, it must be signed by a Public Notary or Official Department.
- The Department of Foreign Affairs/ Document Authentication Office must endorse the signature of that public notary or Official Department.

- Finally, the document needs to be certified by the Consular Section of this Embassy.
