Issued to any person who wishes to enter Venezuela for recreation or health purposes or to carry out non-remunerated or not-for-profit activities such as those related to culture, art, science or sporting activities; to contact enterprises established in Venezuela or persons who work for enterprises in the public or private sector, or to carry out journalistic activities to cover special events.
Requirements:
- Passport valid for a minimum of six (6) months.
- Proof of applicant’s residence in Canada.
- Bank statement.
- Proof of employment.
- Letter proving ownership of real estate, commercial, business, mercantile or industrial property.
- Two (2) colour recent photographs (3.5 x 4.5 cm).
- Bank draft in the amount of US$ 30.00, payable to: Embassy of Venezuela.
- Completed visa application form.
A consular official may interview the applicant to verify the information provided.
Valid for one (1) year, multiple entries. The visa holder may stay in the country for a period of up to ninety (90) days. The Ministry of the Interior and Justice may grant an extension for the same period of time.
